Panteion, via the Laboratory of Urban Criminology (EASTE), conducted a diagnostic research on victimization and safety in the 2nd and 5th Municipal Departments of Piraeus in order to achieve a complete picture of the criminality as well as the dimensions and factors related to the citizens’ fear of crime and insecurity.

Prof. Dimitrios Kallergis, senior researcher of the University of Piraeus Research Center (UPRC), presents in detail the CURiM methodology and analyses the urban security management steps, the boundary setting, and the BSFS security management phases.
